The driving question of the video is 'what led the colonies to unite and go to war against Britain?" The video teaches how after the French and Indian War, salutary neglect came to an end with the Proclamation of 1763 and the implementation of taxes like the Stamp Act. It covers the Sons and Daughters of Liberty, boycotts, the Townshend Acts, the Boston Massacre and Crispus Attucks, the Tea Act and how it led to the Boston Tea Party. Lastly, it explains the Intolerable Acts, the First Continental Congress and it foreshadows the coming war for independence with the Battles of Lexington and Concord.

Causes of the American Revolution "POV" Timeline Activity
